I think someone might have pointed out earlier (can't remember who it
was)
that we may have been getting hints that Ron might actually have the
makings
of a true seer.  It was Ron who read Harry's tea leaves, right?  And
there
were several examples, which we discussed before, where Ron makes an
off-the-cuff remark which we discover later was, amazingly, true.

And Ron almost thinks as little of divination as Hermione does--if
Rowling
does decide to run with this, I can see a possible source of ironic
humor.
Can't you just see the look of horror on Ron's face when Dumbledore
breaks
the awful news? "WHAT?  I'm really a seer?  Does that mean I have to
teach
in a classroom with little lace doilies draped on all the chairs?"
