I've only posted here once, but I was reading CoS tonight and thought 
of the list's discussion of Ron's off-hand comments that demonstrate 
his possible psychic powers.  In Chapter 13 of CoS, when Ron, Harry, 
and Hermione are trying to figure out how Tom Riddle earned an award 
for special services to the school, Ron says "Maybe he murdered 
Myrtle."  Which, of course, happens to be true, although Ron had no 
way of knowing that and it's certainly not why Riddle got the award.  
I'm going to be looking out for more comments like this.  I can't 
believe I never noticed it before!
