The last two lines after your posting were what I wrote. I did study
Latin ( from 10 until 18 ). Still miss it.

 I've always loved words and language and etymology and Latin is the
 perfect language to study for that.
Same here. I got throught as far as I did because I could guess words
from English and French.

 Who knew? (My old Latin teacher  never mentioned it.) I just took it to
pick up girls.

Umm...Latin as a way of meeting women. That's a new one on me !!
