If Hermione is a Mary Sue, then creating a Mary Sue is not 
necesasarily to be dreaded.

Alicia-Sue wrote a series in which the protagonist is her alter-ego: 
one as Linda Potter, Harry and Hermione's superpowered daughter. It 
was still quite enjoyable to read.
