I'm almost positive that this was thought to be somwhere near Exeter.

I would think that some amount of time elapses but I think it is most 
likely not a long period. Seconds maybe???

Hogwarts? As far as I know we only know that you can't apparate or 
disapparate on Hogwarts grounds.  What name Jo has given this is 
unclear.

Gee, it looks like all I've said is that I don't know. Wish I could
