Very good point about soulmates, I agree. But I will also point out that sex
does not always have to be part of an intimate relationship. Nor have I ever
understood those who choose to define themselves by sexual preference--I define
people by how fun they are to talk to, whether they can make cool things, how
interesting they are, etc., and don't really give a rat's patoot about who they
sleep with. When you cut to the chase, sex is only one small part of an honest,
functioning relationship, and not the most difficult by a long shot.

I think Stephanie was a bit, um, energetic in her comments, but I think she's
reflecting a bit of my own thought--gay or not, what relevance does it have to
the story that's being told? At this point, none. [I cannot speak for the
future, as adolescent awakenings become more focused.]
