You're either messing with my mind or we're living in paralell universes. We are talking 
about Lucy Maud Montgomery's "Anne of.." books, right? The scene you describe just doesn't 
exist. Whats going on??!? 
Wait, I'm having a flash of insight - could it be that there was a such a scene in the film 
or TV series? They may have mixed up with the books in your mind.
