the context of H/H, H/R, etc. Unfortunately the deep traumatic impact 
of this "game" cannot be fully appreciated by those who didn't play 
it as children. Here is a wonderful little piece that explains it

What sad little story! Anyway I can remember being a Kindergartner 
and playing the Farmer and the Dell. (I can't remember whether *I* 
was ever a Cheese though!)  Ahh, poor Harry, the alleged cheese, 
unless of course if he is a wheel of Stilton...yum.
