Most of these are topics which have been discussed. Maybe JKR put 
hints about them into her novels and the hints led to the discussion. 
Child abuse and who will Harry and Ron romance with are topics which 
have been discussed at such length that I started laughing at my own 
statement 'have been discussed.'

Besides JKR having said that that is too Star-Wars (as so many people 
have already posted), Dumbledore himself said that the Dursleys are 
the only relatives that Harry has left. Why would he have said that 
if he is Harry's Grandfather? 

(I disagree with the people who said he's too old. If Harry's 
parents' generation are 43 now, as I computed in a post which I think 
was titled Timeline, and AD is 150 now as JKR said in an on-line 
chat, he would have only been 106 at the operative time.)
