One thing JKR has said repeatedly was that she is writing the story that she
wants to write.  I to think that she is not unduly influenced by various
discussions.  She has also said that she has the basic plot for all the
books outlined.

I wish she'd just tune in and answer all our questions...but if she did
that, what would we talk about for the next 2 years!
