The thing about wizard paintings is that they CAN interact with
Harry's world which makes me wonder whether the people depicted in
them were ever real. If so was a seperate entity created when the
portrait was painted?
The most likely solution to me is that the paintings are created as
individuals, and the pictures are just copies of others.
