I think it was Simon with that theory -- not me.  I have in the past
echoed bascially what you just said Cassie -- that older fans tend
toward H/H and the younger set tend toward R/H.  I was treated to lots
of flames in response (another listserve), despite the fact that I had
emphasized that it was a general observation on my part & not a very
scientific one at that.  I still agree with you in that my general
observation is that older HP fans tend to favor H/H more often than
R/H.  I don't have any theories as to why this might be so .... and I
can't recall exactly what Simon said (although I'm fairly certain it was
him who had a theory of sorts).
