Yes, I had that quote in mind. The question is whether that quote is merely
Hagrid's view (and he's either forgetting or ignoring what he believes about
Sirius), or whether it's actually Jo speaking through Hagrid to voice a
basic parameter of her world. (Again, I'm not saying I want that to be the
case--I'd rather it weren't.)
