Don't feel stupid, Firebolt.  I made it up, and I meant it to be the
feminine equivalent of 'android'.  I'm sure someone is now going to list a
thousand very famous sci-fi novels which feature the word 'gynoid'.
Well....perhaps not.  It *is* Christmas Eve, after all, and we have better
things to do <g>.
