I wasn't aware that books previous to GOF were printed at the Glasgow
printers.
250,000 of GOF were printed in Glasgow, 750000 in StIves, so I suppose the
Glasgow ones are more vaulable, as there are less of them... though 250,000
is still a very large print run, when you consider that the some of the
other books had initial print runs of less than 3000.
I don't really know if 1st Printings are valuable at all really. Some of my
books I regard as being valuable - they are 1st Printing, and signed by
Jo... it's the signature that makes it more valuable, as before recent, Jo
did not sign many books - and even now she does not sign all that many.
