Peg, I laughed my butt off at this essay.  I'm NOT laughing at you, or other
hardworking authors -- you bring more joy than you know.  It's nice for you
to let people know all the agony that goes into a full-length novel that we
read on a rainy Sunday afternoon and then we say "When's the next one?" --
don't blame authors for wanting to STRANGLE the public every once in a
while, heh heh.
