[HPforGrownups] Back to Harry and a question?

Ok, here's something I don't recall hearing mentioned.  I don't have a copy
in front of me of GoF, but weren't some of the circle hooded, hence we
couldn't see their faces?  Maybe this is an ongoing habit--hence not seeing
faces of the other DE's when you are in the circle (Snape wouldn't know it
was Peter)?
