This is what happens in the majority of ASA that I write.  I write longhand
while I'm watching my kids.  I get my best writing done at the park or at
soccer practice.  Then I come home and type up the scene.  Most of the time
what goes into the computer is not verbatim what I wrote on the page.  The
basic scene structure is similar but the second version is better.   I've
had time to think about it and read through it a couple of times. I know
where the weaker spots are and generally fix things at that point (not that
it doesn't need fixing after that.)
