Hedwig/Dumbledore Theory

     Just stumbled upon a theory. . . i think that Hedwig could be 
some extension of Dumbledore.  Think about it,  Hagrid gave Hedwig to 
Harry as a present. So, Harry didn't choose her.  And, in PS/SS, when 
Hedwig was sent to London to get Dumbledore, Dumbledore said, "We 
must have crossed midair."

    Maybe, Hedwig is a transfiguration of Dumbledore...that is how 
he's able to protect Harry.

I've just reread Book 1, maybe I'll find some other stuff on this.
