Great job Simon! Thanks...It is hard to pare it down to something 
concise. 
	One other thing we learn in this chapter about Moody is that he 
only drinks from his hip flask and eats only food he's prepared 
himself. I suppose what we should notice, if we are avid mystery 
readers, is that our attention and suspicion are being directed
toward Karkaroff, and on that basis we should indeed think there might 
be something dodgy about Moody. I, however, was caught flat footed on 
first reading as usual. Did anybody start being suspicious at this 
point?
And now for something completely different:
	JKR can't resist writing that Sirius spoke 'seriously'. I hereby
