That's an excellent point -- Harry (pre-GoF) wrote off Neville, because it's
easier to ignore/feel-sorry-for the helpless or clueless types when you're
busy saving the world.
Now that Harry knows Neville's parents' story, though, I expect that Harry
will pay a little more attention to him and take him more seriously; now
Neville's a fellow victim who lost his parents in the war against Voldemort.
This might, in Harry's mind, further qualify Neville to become part of the
team.
