I believe there was a small incident that helped build his
self-esteem in each of the books, so I expect to see him overcome his
fears and do something really heroic by the end of the series. I only
hope he won't be killed off. 
His boggart of Snape in his grandmother's clothes is an image I
recall whenever I need a laugh. :-)
