In the Bible, pride is a bad thing (pride goes before a fall). It's 
not the modern viewpoint that it's good to be proud of yourself, and 
to have pride in your work. It's more like vainglory..that you pump 
yourself up at others' expense.

So I do think pride is one of Lockhart's sins......
