Because Dumbledore said so?  If AD was such a great judge of character that he saw the good side of Snape, hence rescuing him from the authorities and others who were against him back in the Voldie-days and giving him a place to stay/teach, why would his view of Sirius be questioned by the same Snape--despite Snape's own personal views on it.  In other words, if Dumbledore says that Sirius is a good guy, then he must be one, who am I to upset the boat especially with Voldie's ressurrection?



However, if Snape has *not* connected Wormtail with Pettigrew, why would
he agree to work with Sirius Black, who he must still believe was a
traitorous supporter of Voldmort, responsible for many deaths?
