  but there were gaps in the circle, one of them was for Volde's most loyal follower (can't remember the exsact quote - don't have GoF to hand). at the time I assumed it was Barty Jnr but that would just be JKR for you wouldn't it?

  also I don't remember if Volde got around the whole circle - or only part way around, if only part way then there could have been other gaps - not revealed to us.
