I had thought that only the manifestable spells were perceived. Only the screams
of the victims showed where a Cruciatis (sp?) spell had been cast. Presumably,
then, if there was no tangible result to the spell (a dead person, whatever) we
would not be able to see a manifestation of the non-result.

Um, I hope that makes sense. It looks a bit odd, but I can still make out what I
was saying. I think.
