A rather convoluted arguement was once put forth that "Florence" was 
actually Lily, but for that to work you had to suspend your 
disbelief. 

IMHO, of course.

I think the reason Bertha shows up in the Pensieve is because she 
disappeared in Albania -- Voldemort's last known address. And Sirius 
does say that she was nosy, so I'm sure most of Dumbledore's memories 
of Bertha have something to do with the results of her nosiness!
