Since Snape is going to play a somewhat large part in the next books 
I don't understand why more questions about him aren't asked.

You could ask if he loved Lily.  But you must ask if he loved her in 
a romantic kind of way.  There is more than one type of love.

Doesn't anyone want to know what Snape's job was at the end of GoF?  
I would LOVE to know that.
