It is very interesting to hear of the Dragedokke, but I think that in 
both Britain and America, it is generally understood that some people 
just inherited money from their ancestors. The Malfoys are 'old 
money', which in Britain probably means it started when a Malfoy 
ancestor killed a whole lot of Saxons and took over their farmland in 
1066. In USA,inherited money that started from successful stock 
market manipulation in 1899 would be considered 'old money'. By now, 
maybe inherited money that started with bootlegging (smuggling 
illegal alcoholic beverages) in the 1920s might be considered 'old 
money' in USA.
