I found the scene where Voldemort kills the old Muggle at the 
beginning of GoF scary. And the scene where Harry is praying that
V will drown (at the end of GoF). The scene where the Dementors
are surrounding Sirius and Harry is terrifying. But if I had to
put my finger on it...probably the execution of Buckbeak was the 
worst for me...
