Scariest Scene

The thing that scared me the most was the first chapter of GoF.  It 
took me a minute to figure out what had happened; then I realized: Oh 
my god, Tom Riddle killed his own father AND his grandparents!  That 
really sent shivers up my spine.  I mean, you have to be a seriously 
evil bad guy to kill your own family members.  (Unless of course your 
father is king and you want to be, in which case you are just 
ambitious, but thats a whole other folklore.)
