Actually, a bus doesn't have to be re-painted to look different: my 
MTA is doing shrink-wrapped busses: the entire bus is done up as one 
big advertisement by sticking some kind of covering all over it. 

If we get our bus shrink-wrapped, we will NOT want to cover the 
windows. Looking out through the covering makes the brightest 
sunny day look gray and makes neon-lit,streetlit night look like 
solid blackness.
