It means you're not normal, and therefore do not have the same 
opinions of political candidates, TV shows, and popular songs that 
normal people do.

I suppose, as an actor living in New York City, you might not have to 
associate withn normal people very much very often, and therefore 
might not remember just how alien and unpleasant they are.
