I also would be willing to be she just had a vague notion that
Playstations were being distributed *around* the mid-1990s.  I don't
think she's necessarily checking out all the little details (though
we're having fun doing so).

I don't believe that being slightly off in the timeframe of when
Playstations were widely available (since Heidi has confirmed it was
really a matter of being no more than one yr off) undercuts the rest of
the chronology (that is the 1992 date for CoS, which means Harry was
born in 1980).
