My friend Lee, the ABD in English Literature, studied a lot about the 
matiere de Bretagne (which starts with Welsh sources like the 
Mabinogion and the Triads) in preparation for writing her unpublished 
novel about Morgaine le Fay. 

So I asked Lee if there was any reason to believe that there could 
have been an ancient British tale of a strategist named Running 
Weasel. She doesn't believe that there was actually such a tale 
any more than I do.

Altho' I keep wondering why that family is named WEASELy rather than 
BUNNY...
