  I don't have anything really profound to say about this, except that 
  this is the theme that most resonated with me upon first reading 
  these books.  My faith teaches me that free will is the #1 aspect of 
  our humanity, and these stories affirm that.  What is right is not 
  always what is expedient, and vice versa--Harry learns that in every 
  single book so far.  

  Keep the thoughtful posts coming.  The discussions they prompt have 
  been quite insightful!
