I wrote an essay last year in which I used Schrodinger's Cat as a
starting point for discussing why fate and free will are not mutually
exclusive.
About using the Time Turner to go into the future, though, do we even
know that's possible? Maybe it can only go into the past, and
despite the evidence back at Yahoo that someone took a Time Turner
back to 1969 to mess with us, it might have a limited range into the
past at that (maybe only a couple days or so). I wonder if the Time
Turner is going to pop up again or if it's going to be specific to
one book like the Mirror of Erised.
