Harry's face telling Dumbledore that his scar hurts turns into Snape
telling Dumbledore that "it" is getting clearer all the time.
On first reading, the meaning was was a mystery: WHAT is getting
clearer, what does Snape have to do with Harry's scar? On second
reading, it is *clear* that the connection between these two pieces
of information is that Harry's scar hurts because of Voldemort, and
that Snape was telling Dumbledore that the Dark Mark is getting
darker on his arm and Karkaroff's arm, and that the connection is
that both are signs that V is getting stronger or more active.
Am I the only weirdo who is reminded by the Dark Mark on their arms
of Nazi concentration camp ID tattooes? How about being reminded of
the Mark of the Beast?
