I think Dudley is presented as an unpleasant person who is fat, not a fat
person who is unpleasant, if you get my drift. His being fat is a by-product,
not a cause, and as a fat kid myself, I think I would have picked that up.
Anybody who identifies with Dudley has lots more problems than being fat....
