Linda, your comments are very interesting and complete.  I am glad to 
hear from someone who has actually read the book that many of our 
impressions, based on the reviews, were accurate.  After reading all 
the postings on this book, it struck me that we, collectively (the HP 
for grownups newsgroup members, that is) could write a better book.  
Then, it struck me, why dont we?  Seriously, lets take the FAQ and 
turn it into something a publisher would print.  I know there are a 
zillion legal and practical issues, but I think we could do it.  
After all, we are clearly better at analyzing HP than this Schafer 
phony. [And then, lets announce that it is targeted at adults so as 
to force the NY Times to put it on the bestseller list, on the off-
chance that lots of people buy it.]
