even when you are only making one or two copies to preserve the original creation, to color on them, which is what the artist had in mind when they made the book?

  Yeah, except that I'm a school library media specialist and a 
  freelance writer, which means I'm a fanatic about copyright and all 
  that. I don't copy anything unless I'm sure it's okay, and I get all 
  cranky when my staff just copies
