Bear in mind both Lily and Petunia need to be relatively young in 1980 as
they both had kids then.  They couldn't have been born much before 1945
meaning if they were Tom Riddle Sr.'s kids, they'd have been rendered
fatherless quite young.  Petunia's spoken of both parents approving of Lily,
so that evidently wasn't the case.

I don't think you should be stating this as fact just yet...
