I think whoever betrays Harry will be themselves betrayed---in other words,
they will have genuinely believed, up until a moment of revelation, that
they were helping him. Kind of like Dobby protecting him to death, but with
an epiphany at the end. Preferably before serious damage is done.....
That seems very Voldemort's style, and also relieves JKR of having to turn
such so-far-noble-at-heart characters into petty little people.
