That can't be it, Mary. He's already one-half muggle from day one
through his hated father; Harry's blood was "purer" than Voldemort's
already. And if having a witch mother and wizard father doesn't make
you pureblood, what does? Are we into the wizarding version of the
South African race laws, US Jim Crow laws, and Nazi Aryan laws? How
far back must you go?
I think, though, that *somehow* Voldemort made his ultimate mistake
when he took Harry's blood. Are their destinies bound together now? I
hope not, for it could mean Harry is to die if Voldemort is to be
killed. But somehow Voldemort took in the seeds of his final defeat
with Harry's blood.
