Alix, I didn't take offense. The only time I've ever felt a target is when
people will insist on telling me lame "blonde" jokes. Yeah, I'm a blonde
Scotch-Irish loony-tune, and proud of it, LOL! (see my flower-child photo
in the FILES/Group Members folder -- I'm older now, but still look EXACTLY
the same) </white lie>.

Sorry to have snipped Ebony's interesting answer to Sister Mary, but I just
wanted to say that my original mail and questions weren't born of bigotry or
intended to be read as such and I'd like to apologise to anyone who thought
so, 'specially Ebony and Sister Mary. It was a genuine enquiry, as I, as
someone else mentioned, would've thought that, knowing how wizarding folk
are categorised, having a wizard and a witch would have made you a
pureblood, and was puzzled, knowing Harry's parentage, to hear him described
as a halfblood. And I'd like to reiterate what I said in one of my other
mails on this subject, that it is 'who' you are as a person that is
important, not 'what' society superficially pigeonholes you as being. As
true for the wizarding world as it is for ours...
