In books 2-3, we learned a great deal about James Potter, but we still know
virtually nothing about Lily, save her heroic defense of her infant son
Harry. I've the feeling that Books Five-Six will reveal to us a great deal
more biographical information about Lily - it may even to delivered to us
through the auspices of her sister Petunia (which would at least justify the
presence of the increasingly tiresome Dursleys. Like, we get the point
about how obtuse mere Muggles are!)
