I doubt it. There's nothing human left in him. What I meant was that
even before he completely shed his Tom-Riddle-persona he was a man
with a mission who didn't just idle around after school trying to
sort out what he was going to do with his life, sowing his wild oats
without consideration.

Wanting to be the Number One and Only sounds very much like
Voldemort. That's why I think he would be careful not to father a
rival.
