Hmmm. That book is being auctioned currently, here on yahoo, with the 3-1 setting (all three of the books in one volume). Perhaps that might not be a bad buy!

Onto stories, I adored the rec about Neverwhere--picked it up, and after reading it, realized the only reason I was a bit confused watching the series was the fact I must've missed the beginning of it! All the other elements fell into place as the book unveiled them--so in my mind, I saw the actors in the places of the characters (wonder if that's going to happen with HP?) as I read. The doorway, Jess, etc, all were patterned after the BBC series. Wonder if you get a copy of that somewhere, hmm?

Just a thought.

:)

Currently re-reading SS and making post it notes in it for things that catch my eye. Have about 25 now at chapter six~will post them all in one big post, in case anyone else wants to dissect them or ignore them!

I'd try him on Diane Duane's marvelous: So You Want To Be a Wizard, which has
  2 sequels.
