Snape knew about Cloak?

He probably deduced that he has one, since his head showed up in 
Hogsmeade some weeks earlier.  When he found it by the tree that 
would most likely clinch it that a) Harry had an invisibility cloak 
and b) Harry was nearby.

I wonder if he knew about the cloak, or suspected James had one, back 
in his own school days.
