 If Dumbledore, Filch or Snape knew about the tunnel into hogsmeade, 
they would have told the dementors to guard it (from the honeydukes 
end of course). At this time in the book, they thoght SB was guilty 
and a threat to the school; this was just after the attack on the Fat 
Lady. I find it highly unlikely that Snape would know about the 
tunnel and not mention it to either the dementors or Dumblydorr, he 
wanted Black caught as much as anyone.
